"Chronicle" at Cobb Astro Park

Chronicle is a TV program that airs on ABC nightly at 7:30 that highlights what’s happening in New England. They are doing a feature on “giving back to the community” and the Cobb Astro Park at Barnstable High School is being included as part of the program. Osterville Garden Club has created and maintains a garden in the park as part of a civic beautification project. We also have donated a purple fountain beech tree to the park for Arbor Day 2019.
The cameras and crew came to film the park, staff, and students on Tuesday 5/21. Mike Gyra, director of the Astro Park, has invited some members of the OGC to come and work in the garden as the cameras roll. It was quitet an honor to be included in this production! When the program airs, this will show the public how the Osterville Garden Club gives back to the community.
