September 11, 2023: Farmers Market, 12:00 – 1:00 PM Sharing the Beauty of our Bounty!” For our first meeting, each member is asked to bring a flower specimen from her garden or home in a simple glass container.These be placed in the center of each dining table as the centerpieces for a fun show and tell.

November 13, 2023: "Embracing the Holiday Season" Our speaker, Maureen Christmas, will create autumn and winter arrangements incorporating textures and colors for holidays. Something for every level of designer with suggestions for horticulture from your own gardens, plus ideas on how to transform designs throughout the seasons.Guests are welcome and arrangements will be available in a drawing!
February 5, 2024: “Plant Colonies" Margery Winters will bring her experiences with plant colonies and communications to life in a fascinating presentation.
March 4, 2024 “Ikebana” Kaye Vosburgh, Riji of the Sogetsu school of ikebana design, will demonstrate and lecture on the traditions of this aesthetic tradition.Guests are welcome; flowers will be available for a drawing and one attendee will go home with one arrangement!
April 1, 2024: “Ecological Restoration” Doug Tallamy, best selling author and a nationally acclaimed Professor in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware, will present a fascinating program on the easy ways we can all contribute to ecological restoration. May 6, 2024 “Chameleon Containers" Deb Trickett presentsa new program showcasing spring containers with examples of ways to adapt them as they move through successive seasons.
